About the Chapter
Initially chartered in 1928 as “Tau Beta Pi Alumni Association of Cleveland” and re-chartered in 1992 as “Ohio’s North Coast Alumni Chapter”, ONCAC is the alumni chapter serving the greater Cleveland metropolitan area. ONCAC strives to make a lasting impact in the lives of Tau Bates through fostering meaningful connections, engaging in life-long learning, and serving our community. We achieve these goals through a variety of events and activities including, networking events, service activities, entertainment events, and more. Two popular events are our annual Pi Day and Tau Day activities. Local Tau Bates are invited to join our private LinkedIn group to see some of our past events and be informed about upcoming ones.
ONCAC prides itself on close collaboration with, and support of, the four Collegiate Chapters in our region. These are: Ohio Alpha (Case Western Reserve University), Ohio Epsilon (Cleveland State University), Ohio Kappa (University of Akron), and Ohio Lambda (Youngstown University). Our leaders meet monthly to plan and execute the calendar. In addition to the LinkedIn group, ONCAC communicates via our email.
